Texas weather is hot, yet we love the outdoors, so we sometimes get sunburned. Here’s some great advice for those times. First, be ready by having the right supplies on hand. Most medicinal needs are immediate needs – so being organized in this area is important. I like to keep a variety of natural remedies on hand and I can help you do the same as part of your organization process. But in the meantime, if you find yourself looking like a lobster – try this out:
Open about 10 capsules of the Vitamin E and mix in with about 1/4 cup of the Aloe Vera gel (I use Fruit of the Earth, 100% pure, no color added). When mixed thoroughly (I use a toothpick), slather mixture on the burned areas of your skin. As soon as it absorbs, repeat – repeat – repeat. If you will consistently do this as soon as you can after getting burned, you will be amazed at the results. Most of the time you will not even blister – plus it lessens the pain . BUT remember, you must be prepared, proactive, and persistent! The results are definitely worth it!
